Educational Courses in Rethymno
If you are staying in Crete for a longer period, you have the possibility to take part in several interesting courses. The Department of Culture of Prefecture of Rethymno is funding educational programs for the period of April to June 2010. The courses are taking place in N.E.L.E - Training Center Rethymnon.

Book Exhibition of Rethymnian women authors on the occasion of Women's Day
The Pancretan Theology Association is organizing on Saturday, March 6, at the House of Culture (Old Town of Rethymno, by the new central square), Book Exhibition of Rethymnian women authors. The exhibition will run in the event dedicated to women on March 6 at 7 pm at House of Culture on the occasion of Women's Day (March 8). Speakers: theologist Theodore J. Riginiotis and the writer, especially children's and teenage books, dealing with equality issues, Maria V. Dimitriadou.

An exhibition entitled ‘On the Threshold of Two Centuries’ displaying about 150 works – mainly by Greek artists - from the permanent collection. The exhibition provides an overview of the development of Green Modern Art from the 1960s to the present day.
